Uluru (Ayers Rock) is in the centre of Australia, in the Northern Teritory state. When we arrived at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park it was raining! We camped around the puddles. The following day we saw Uluru. It was a magnificent site with mist across the top of the big rock. We walked around the base of Uluru under the grey sky. The rock was wet. It took us two hours to walk all the way round. By the time we arrived back at the car park the sun was out and there was blue skies above.
